KOMPEL BEER CHEESE
The traditional cheese factory "De Vierhoekshoeve" from Gijzenzele released a cheese based on Kompel Bovengronds. Most beer cheeses are dipped in and washed with beer. At the Kompel beer cheese, the blonde beer is incorporated into the cheese (curd). This cheese contains 22 percent beer. In addition to the Kompel Bovengronds beer cheese, there is also a beer pâté.
